1. information we collect
when you use generalrust, we collect limited personal information required to authenticate you and grant in-game perks:
- steam profile data: your steamid64, public community persona name, and avatar image fetched via steam openid authentication.
- discord identity (optional): your discord user id and username if you link your discord account to claim role sync perks.
- order records: transaction timestamps, purchased store items, order amounts, and mollie merchant reference keys.
- technical logs: ip addresses and basic request headers used temporarily for anti-fraud, ddos protection, and rate-limiting.
2. payment security & mollie
we do not collect, process, or store payment card details, bank logins, or security codes on our servers.
checkout transactions are handled directly through mollie b.v., a certified pci-dss level 1 payment service provider. when you pay, your financial data is encrypted and transferred solely between your browser and mollie.
3. cookies & browser storage
generalrust uses functional browser cookies and local storage strictly to keep you logged in and preserve your store cart:
- gr_session: secure, http-only session cookie that verifies your steam login.
- cart storage: local storage used to remember item quantities while you browse.
we do not run third-party advertising tracking or sell your personal data to data brokers.
4. your rights & contact
you have the right to inspect, export, or request the deletion of your account records associated with your steamid.
